Teacher Spotlight

Each year during Black History Month, Community Goods recognizes an inspiring black teacher from the Chicago Public School system. Our goal is to highlight teachers that make a difference in the classroom and community. Friends, family, or colleagues can nominate them to win our Teacher’s Spotlight honoree by submitting a short story to have them be featured and receive a monetary donation or a classroom wishlist fulfilled. Mr. Antonio Miller ( @afromilitant ) of Urban Prep Academy in Bronzeville, was our 2022 Teacher Spotlight winner!

We were moved by the heartfelt nomination, his story, and his impact on the lives of his young students and their families, along with the other nominations we received. Shout out to @lawrenceagyei for partnering with us on this project!
